Who took the snacks?
Chester County Futures Passport
to College 10th grade students were hard at work for twelve weeks in
order to solve a mystery of who took the CCF snacks. Over the course of their
project, they learned STEM skills in forensics including fingerprint analysis,
handwriting analysis, and biometric calculation. Working in groups, students
had to collaborate in order to analyze evidence, come to a conclusion of the
crime committed, and create a presentation that summed up their investigative
work. Through this project-based learning unit, students were able to work
after-school on analytical skills, logical thinking, problem solving, math
skills, and teamwork skills. They did a great job this presenting to a guest audience.
